    Verdict

The betting suggested ALMUFEED would improve on his first outing since September and he duly returned a convincing winner over track and trip. He can defy a 7lb rise with more to come. Billy Roberts bids for a hat-trick of course and distance victories though the less-exposed Allowed wasn’t far behind in third last time. Diamond Jill beat Hot Day less than a length when scoring here last month and that pair are hard to separate.
