In depth
Verdict
Air Of Esteem will appreciate the return to this company having been found out in better races of late, but he looks to have plenty on under his big weight, while Blushing Spur looked one to avoid after turning in a mulish display at Southwell last time. Feast Of Romance has looked out of sorts of late, but Czar Wars, who is effective here, comes into this in good form and will be difficult to keep out of the frame. Firework's win here last month was given a boost by the subsequent success of the runner-up Queensberry on Saturday evening. There is no reason why he shouldn't go well again, but a chance is taken with the first time visored Foreign Editor, who takes a big drop in class. John Quinn's seven-year-old has gone over two years without winning, but the last time he visited the winners enclosure was when he gave weight and a beating to Air Mail, which would make him something of a steering job in this, so it is hoped the visor has the desired effect.
