In depth
Verdict
This race will not take too much winning and Countrywide Girl appears to have the best recent form and can land this ahead of Dancing King and Leonora Truce. It's a long time since Alan Berry's mare visited the winners enclosure but she ran with credit here last time when not beaten far into fifth place behind Dafa in a similar race to this. Today's opposition looks slightly less taxing and she can gain a well overdue success. Dancing King didn't do too badly at Southwell last time and has shown enough on his visits here to suggest he can take a hand in the finish. Leonora Truce hails from a yard starting to hit form and will not have to step up too much on recent efforts to become a major player here. Of the others Pageant has shown some signs of ability but it may pay to stick with current form and Countrywide Girl gets the vote.
