In depth
Verdict
There should be plenty of pace on here and, as The Fisio may find the race unfolding to suit his strengths, he is expected to have too much of a finishing punch for Sea The World, Frascati, who hold solid claims; whereas Maktavish is also capable of going close but faces no easy task under top weight today. Of the pick of the rest: Taboor has the ability to go close in a race of this nature but does not always go through with his effort and is opposable on balance. While Gone 'N' Dunnett and Raymond's Pride are also hard to get right and need everything to go their way for them to figure strongly. Daintree Affair is still closely matched with Frascati after their meeting here a couple of months ago and could easily run into a place at this level. However, they lack the resolution already shown by The Fisio and Andrew Balding's charge is confidently expected to have the edge if he gets a clear passage inside the final furlong. The size of the field should ensure that Martin Dywer can keep the selection handy until asking him to quicken and, as he has already ridden The Fisio to victory over course and distance, the partnership will have very few excuses if they suffer a surprise defeat.
