        Verdict

        Feast of Romance has a chance to atone for his recent defeat at the track with Emperor Cat, Larky's Lob and Silver Mascot providing the opposition. Paul Howling's gelding was overhauled close home by Legalis in a similar event eight days ago and in this weaker contest, compensation awaits. Emperor Cat is the obvious danger. He ran well enough on a reappearance effort over six furlongs last week and the trainer has been farming events of this type at will over recent months. Larky's Lob has proved difficult to place of late and the value of his recent fifth to Iced Diamond was hardly advertised by the winner on Saturday. Dil has shown little of note of late while Silver Mascot has it to do at these terms. Feast of Romance is given the verdict in the seller.
