Foolish Thought, Stoic Leader, Geronimo, Super Canyon and Jonny Ebeneezer look the principles in the opener and we will take a chance with the last mentioned. The selection is a consistent sort who ran his best race for some time when a close second behind Hurricane Coast over this trip last time out. He could be capable of going one better here with an ideal draw and Eddie Ahern taking over in the plate. Foolish Thought was well beaten last time behind Silver Mascot but would have chances on his previous win here when he got the better of Bells Beach. The step back up to 7 furlongs will suit and he should go well. Geronimo is dropped in trip here and the suspicion is that he is now better over further so he is passed over, while Super Canyon should come on for his recent outing when fourth behind Johnston¿s Diamond, as that was his first run in 4 months. But his best form is over shorter than this and he is another that can be readily opposed. Stoic Leader is another that will not necessarily be suited by the step up in trip and for the winner we return to Jonny Ebeneezer.
