        Verdict

        Apache Ridge had Polemica behind when winning a seller here a fortnight ago and will find life tougher back in handicap company. A similar comment applies to Steelcut, who was allowed his own way up front when taking a three-runner claiming event over 5f here last time. Rainy Night is inconsistent but could take this if producing one of his better efforts, while Yungaburra has won six races here but the last time was back in 2008. A tentative vote goes to CAVITIE, who improved for first-time cheekpieces when second here last time and looks set to strike.
