      Verdict

      Charismatic Man has been competing over 2m recently but won over 1m4f here in November. Dolphin Village has been placed over shorter trips the last twice now and still looks high enough in the weights while Tetradrachm was third over 1m6f at Chelmsford before failing to see out the 2m at Newcastle a fortnight ago. PERSIAN STEEL (NAP) won a maiden race over 1m4f at Newcastle earlier and has more scope than most stepping up in distance on only his second start handicapping. Brian Ellison’s charge gets the vote.
