Verdict

Crystal Moments who bypassed an engagement during the week looks the one to beat here. Sparkling Crystal and Gone Hunting could well prove to be the biggest dangers. Crystal Moments was a comfortable winner on her first start over six furlongs last time, quickening away to beat what was a modest field but she looks a filly that can continue progressing. Sparkling Crystal remains a maiden after four starts and didn't appear to get home over seven furlongs at Newbury on her most recent appearance. The drop back in trip will therefore suit but her tendency to race keenly will continue to be her undoing if she fails to settle. Gone Hunting has had plenty of chances. He was outclassed last time and while he has the form to be in the shake-up, he is beginning to look exposed. Helpmeronda failed to trouble the judge when contesting a lower class of maiden than she raced in on her first two starts. Market support would make her of some interest but Crystal Moments is the pick.
