Verdict

Singing The Blues finished in front of previous winner Battle Of Marathon when going close over 2m at Lingfield last time but AUTUMN WAR looks worth sticking with. The betting suggested the latter would improve for an earlier comeback run and Ian William’s charge duly won over course and distance when beating Thai Terrier. The runner-up should go well again while Figeac and Manjaam finished further behind the selection and the latter boosted the form by scoring at Newcastle last week.
