Verdict
Danetime Lord is put forward to achieve course win number four at the main expense of Mr Lambros and Teasing. Danetime Lord has been a victim of his own consistency in recent times but a 4lb rise for a second place behind Red Romeo over course and distance might not be enough to stop him especially around his favoured Wolverhampton. Mr Lambros has availed of a fall in the ratings and passed the post in front on his two most recent outings. It should be noted his most recent win was achieved following a haphazard begining, therefore it is possible Mr Lambros might remain well handicapped. Those wins were both over six furlongs, however, the extra furlong should not be a problem as Gay Kelleway's charge proved victorious over this distance in recent seasons. Today's race is a hotter contest though and on that basis is passed over. Teasing blotted her copybook last time out following a period of admirable consistency. Another climbing the ratings, Teasing may have been feeling the effects of some tough races and until a return to form is illustrated she cannot be considered. Wessex and Divermenti are others to consider in what is a compettive heat but Danetime Lord is the selection.
