In depth

Verdict

Nothing leaps off the page so perhaps the consistency of DOBRAVANY can see him through; Red Wine and Piverina may give him the most problems. Kevin Morgan's son of Danehill Dancer ran well behind Lytham at Kempton last week and he continues to threaten to get his head infront. The cheek-pieces are on again but racing off the same mark of 49 he should give backers a good run for their money. Trysting Grove didn't show too much on a recent reappearance but should strip fitter and she looks handicapped to strike, Barry McHugh looks an interesting jockey booking for Roisin's Prince, whilst Red Wine's best efforts have come in big fields and a strong tempo will suit him today. The market needs watching for course and distance winner Gamesters Lady on this first start for Jim Best, John Potts looks handicapped to win races, whilst Piverina is in better form and should come on for a recent Southwell outing. Bubses Boy is considered with Hayley Turner back onboard however the vote is given to Dobravany.
