In depth

Verdict

KODIAC LADY went close when runner-up here last time and an apprentice's 7lb allowance helps her cause in this. She is just preferred to Jimmy's Hall and has a fitness edge over the others with a shout. That list includes Subversive and Captain Revelation, both maiden winners last year, while Doctor Kehoe makes his handicap debut on his reappearance. Zebs Lad won at Kempton in February but has been beaten off higher marks since.
