        Verdict

        A poor claimer gets proceedings under way but something has to win and the principals look to be Countrywide Belle, Tafilah and Aysgarth Flyer and the narrow vote is given to Countrywide Belle. The selection was a good winner last time out when beating Captivate and with the fitting of first time blinkers likely to bring about some more improvement he is taken to win again. Tafila rates the main danger on his latest second behind Fusili but he has been done no favours by the draw and for that reason he is opposed. Aysgarth Flyer is another that could go well on his best form but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time out so he can not be put forward with any confidence.Aboyne is dropping in grade and is from a yard in form so should be monitored in the market while Scroll has the ability to go close but does not always ordain to use it and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Countrywide Belle.
