In depth
Verdict
A wide open handicap here with many in form rivals in opposition including Consonant, Del Mar Sunset and Ile Michel and the confident vote goes to Consonant. The gelding from the David Bridgewater yard has been in good form of late winning his last two race and a reproduction of his latest win in a seller over Paso Doble would see him go close off what looks a fair mark on his first try in handicap company. Del Mar Sunset rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Intricate Web. He is sure to have come on for the run and will not be far away. Ile Michel is well weighted on his best turf form but his efforts on this surface have not amounted to much so unless there is market support he may be worth opposing. Of the remainder Kentucky King is another that is sure to improve for his latest run and he is one of the least exposed in the field so he is open to improvement. However for the winner we return to the progressive Consonant,.
