      Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Basinet,Ndola, Desert Hawk and Look At The Stars and the vote is given to Basinet. The selection was a good second behind Glendale last time out. That form has since been franked and off the same mark here he will be hard to beat. Ndola rates the main danger on his best form and if the first time blinkers have the desired effect he would not be far away. He hails from a shrewd yard and if there is money for him it should be followed. Desert Hawk won well last time out when beating Friends Hope. However this looks more competitive and he may struggle under his penalty. Of the remainder Look At The Stars hails from a yard in form and is another tried in first time blinkers while Belle Chanson is another that has dropped to a handy mark and has definite place claims but in a trappy affair for the winner we return to Basinet.
