        Verdict

        LADIES DANCING showed enough when tried over this trip at Kempton to suggest that he might be able to win this, while Laconicos and Amical Risks are others for the short list. The selection stayed on well that day, suggesting that this trip is likely to work out as his best, and from a 1lb higher mark he can finish in front this time. Laconicos was a hurdle winner at Plumpton in November and came back from a break to run well at Lingfield last time, over shorter than today's trip, and he was staying on that day, suggesting that this trip is well worth a try. He is respected. Amical Risks was a course and distance winner last month and is 5lbs higher today. He has since gone close back here and is entitled to be bang there once more. Shandlelight represents a stable going well and should be better for this drop in trip at a track she enjoys, but Ladies Dancing is selected in the last.
