Verdict

MARSHGATE LANE has been successful in a couple of claimers so far this year and beat higher-rated opposition than this at Lingfield last week. He gets the nod over Ready, dropped in class with an apprentice’s allowance in his favour. The remainder have plenty to find on these terms including the treble-chasing Mr Red Clubs and recent Southwell winner Anton Chigurh, who beat Vastly over track and trip back in March. Glasgow Central was due to run at Lingfield yesterday.
