      Verdict

      BLACK GRASS landed a hat-trick with an easy win in a higher grade sprint at Redcar two days ago. Mick Easterby’s charge is the one to beat despite carrying a penalty. Entertaining Ben won at Salisbury recently but had earlier finished behind Just Glamorous when the latter was third at Brighton. Ron Harris’ charge can confirm running in this while Dutch Archer is upped in class after scoring over track and trip but is still preferred to Beverley maiden winner Geno.
