Verdict
A winner at Bath, Basilicata failed to beat a rival in better company at Doncaster last time. Genesius won over track and trip when last on the all-weather while Big Boy Bobby has been in good form on Turf and won at Brighton earlier. The Thunderer is a maiden winner but BASIC BEAUTY came up against a potentially smart filly when second in a novices race at Lingfield last time and the Godolphin charge gets the vote with improvement expected in first-time cheekpieces now handicapping.
