Ashes and Scarlett Heart are sure to have their supporters here but we will side with Desert Opal as the one to beat. The selection is eased in grade after disappointing in a handicap last time and he looks to have plenty in his favour tonight. He is a course and distance winner and he has a decent draw and he looks the percentage call. Ashes is an obvious danger as she wasn't beaten far in this grade last time out, but she is not ideally drawn and at the forecast odds she could be worth taking on. Scarlett Heart is another eased in grade but again she has been done no favours by the draw. Rebel Duke is a course and distance winner and he has a good draw so he is another worth considering. However, the vote is given to Desert Opal.
