Fishforcompliments has been thereabouts without looking like winning over shorter trips here of late while Mcbirney has slipped down to a winning mark if he can rediscover his best. Son Vida is another on the slide though he's showing no improvement for it and Kyle Of Bute beat CELTIC STEP a head over C&D back in June. The latter suffered another narrow-margin defeat when runner-up at this track last time but the third-placed horse has since landed a double and Peter Niven's consistent sort gets the nod on that basis.
