Verdict

Spontaneity only went down by a nose in a maiden at Lingfield nine days ago and has to be of interest on her handicap debut. Rylee Mooch was just collared over 6f at Southwell earlier this month and will appreciate the drop to 5f and a return to Polytrack while Restless Bay was taking on decent opposition when second over 6f here last week, though is arguably better over 6f. Johnny Hancocks is gradually dropping down the weights and had excuses when last of six at Kempton earlier this month but we'll take a chance on the fitness of OVERWHELM. Richard Fahey's filly was thought good enough to contest last year's Queen Mary at Royal Ascot and, though well beaten, won her maiden here last July and performed with credit in decent company thereafter. She could just be a cut above this grade.
