In depth
Verdict
Liberation Day won a maiden over 7f here and makes his handicap debut but novice winner Klass Action was beaten over 5f here handicapping for the first time. Fares Kodiac and Lovin are other winners in novice company but both are returning from lay-offs so it could pay to stick with COOLAGH MAGIC. The latter won at Southwell recently but had scored over today’s trip at Newcastle before that and there looks more to come from Richard Fahey’s colt back on Tapeta. Beleaguerment and Uncle Jerry are closely matched on earlier running at Lingfield but Oberyn Martell is another returning from an absence.
