Course and distance winner FIELDS OF ATHENRY failed to stay the 1m2f trip at Windsor on his handicap debut. He gets another chance back over today’s trip with James Tate’s yard in decent form. Joe The Beau is upped in class and raised 5lb after scoring at Thirsk but has plenty of scope and is preferred to Havana Ooh Na Na, who landed a lowly Class 6 contest over 7f here recently. Balladeer has a shout on last week’s third at Newmarket while Balata Bay has won over 7f and attempts this longer trip for the first time.
