Verdict

Some very interesting runners with decent form line up for this contest and BUBBLY BELLINI looks the most exciting prospect so we side with him today, whilst Anjomarba should also be considered and Il Forno comes here on the back of a win at Yarmouth. This one is wide open with plenty of horses having had good runs of late with the three who run in the cheekpieces making most appeal. Our selection beat Anjomarba at Lingfield last time out and although this was a narrow win the weights are similar in this contest and he can follow up. However reservations do remain as this is the first run out since the beginning of the year for Bubbly Bellini and will need to come back after that break with a bang to land this race. Anjomarba is much improved since losing to our pick and remains one of the main dangers, especially after winning at Wolverhampton latest. Il Forno was firmly in command at Yarmouth a couple of months ago when running off top weight in a handicap and if showing that sort of performance here could be in the mix come the finish. Our tentative choice though is Bubbly Bellini.
