In depth

Verdict

Spice Trail has the experience on his side and should put that to good use and land himself in the winners enclosure today with his main danger being Baron's Court. The selection has improved with each and every run to date and if repeating his form when fourth of twelve behind Tajaaweed at Nottingham in October he will take some beating. Baron's Court ran with credit on his debut when fourth of ten at Southwell and again is very much a live contender if showing further improvement. But in an ordinary maiden contest we will look no further than Spice Trail
