        Verdict

        COURT APPLAUSE was having only his second start since June when runner-up at Lingfield last month. Third-placed Sketchy Evidence has subsequently won so the form looks solid enough and William Muir's charge gets the vote ahead of Gold Tobougg. The latter has scope to improve but will need to, as he's yet to better his debut third at Yarmouth during the summer. Gorgeous Goblin's recent placed efforts at Southwell looks the best form the remainder have to offer, though newcomer Fireball Express is related to an all-weather winner and is worth noting in the betting.
