A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Rambling Socks, Montzando and Keon and the narrow vote is given to the last named. The selection has been in in good form of late without winning but he was a fair second behind High Five Society, he may be suited by the drop in trip and he looks a value bet in an open affair. Montzando rates the main danger as he beat Lady Hopeful last time out he has a fair draw and will not be far away. Rambling Socks is another that could go well on his latest second behind Boundless Prospect. However consistency is not his strong point. Pauvic has dropped to a handy mark and shaped as if returning to form last time out so could go well at a price. Of the remainder James Street is game and consistent and is sure to run her race but for the winner we return to Keon to small stakes.
