Verdict

It's hard to enthuse about the thirteen runners in this race and, consequently, their respective chances of leading the field over the line. The likes of Itsthursdayalready and Fathey have raced from significantly higher marks in the past so a return to some semblance of form from them could see them walk away with this prize but the nominal selection is BIDRUMA. She didn't shape too badly at Salisbury in May and ran a more encouraging race in handicap company on her penultimate start suggesting that she may be able to pick up a small race. Tony Culhane is in the plate for the first time which is encouraging as he has a 27 per cent strike rate for the yard and it's hoped that his booking is a sign that better is expected but recourse to the market is essential.
