Tallawalla's recent form earns her a place on the short-list and she's certainly entitled to pick up a second career success but the fact that she's only scored once to date is a concern. Market support for Royal Island, who has been off the track for over a year, would bring him into the equation as it would for the unexposed Zafeen's Pearl who may well be suited by dropping in trip as her dam is related to a number of winners at around this distance; the nod, however, goes the way of TRES FROIDE who has found a new lease of life on the all-weather lately. She hasn't actually managed to win a race on this surface yet and doesn't appear to be the easiest of rides but she should, at least, be involved at the business end.
