        Verdict

        Sudden Flight returned to something like his old form when making all over course and distance last time out, and even with his welter burden looks hard to oppose here. He has a six pound penalty for that five length victory, but remains well handicapped on his old turf form and should not be opposed here. Another Diamond is potentially well treated on her handicap win at Chepstow, but has run poorly on all-weather surfaces so far and has a two-month absence to overcome. Halland Park Lad's Windsor win came in a seller and he is far from sure to be effective over this longer trip. A bigger danger may come Desert Spa, who certainly likes this course and distance but is more at home in sellers and claimers and looks held on his latest effort in handicap company.
