Verdict
The fourth race is a tricky little sprint handicap and maybe the well handicapped STONEACRE LAD can burn off Wotashirtfull and Master Lightfoot. Peter Grayson's speedster is having his first run of the season but at forecast odds of 25-1 he must be backed with eight runners going to post. He has been competitive off much higher marks and is a course and distance winner. Wotashirtfull was a disappointing beaten favourite on his latest start but that was the trip more than anything. The drop to five furlongs today will suit and Pat Cosgrave will try to make it a pillar to post victory. Master Lightfoot has been in great form of late and Walter Swinburn's charge will go close again. He won with nothing to spare on his latest start and the handicapper may just have him now. Stoneacre Lad is a bold pick but if the eight runners stay in and his forecast price is right, he has to be backed.
