In depth
Verdict
Old favourite Nimello is impossible to oppose in this grade, with Kasamba and Wensleydale Lad the pick of the opposition. The former Licoln winner is now with Kevin Ryan and showed he still knows the way home when easily winning a similar race over seven furlongs here last week. That should have done his confidence the world of good, and it is hard to see him being beaten in this company. The pick of the rest on official ratings is Kasamba, who has been disappointing this season but this drop in class is likely to see her in a much better light. Wensleydale Lad was a convincing winner of a Southwell seller in February and would also have claims on that form of reaching a place. Sudra chased home Nimello last time and although it is hard to see him reversing that form, he could still be good enough to get some more prize money.
