      In depth

      Verdict

Josies Kid finished well ahead of a below par Navello when scoring at York but struggled last time raised 10lb. Shamlaan has been raised the same amount though won easily at Lingfield to land a double and can figure once again but HE’S A GENTLEMAN (NAP) makes most appeal. The latter missed out by only a nose at Haydock on his handicap debut despite a slow start and Tom Dascombe’s charge can go one better in this. Saliteh and King Of Speed are others with scope for improvement.
