Verdict

Desert Emperor has been in good form in novice company and won easily over track and trip last time. He can figure again back in a handicap while Duke Of Verona was narrowly beaten in a lower grade here last month and can also go well. Oz Legend has something to prove over this far having placed over 1m2f at Newcastle but SONGKRAN looks set to take advantage of a slide down the weights having won off an 8lb higher mark earlier this year and beaten less than a length here on his latest start.
