In depth
Verdict
Beamsley Beacon, Baytown Flyer and Repeat are the three to concentrate on here and the first named just edges the decision. The selection returned from a three month break and put up an excellent performance to finish just three lengths behind Dexilios over course and distance. There should be plenty of improvement in the offing and he looks a good bet against some modest rivals. Repeat was the decisive winner of a banded contest at Southwell earlier this month and wasn't disgraced next time when third in a better event, he should be involved in the finish. Baytown Flyer looks best of the remainder, he hasn't won since April but has put up some terrific efforts in defeat since, including a length second behind Long Weekend over this trip at Lingfield. All In All it is quite a competitive affair and Beamsley Beacon is just a sporting selection
