Verdict

A wide open affair gets proceedings underway and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Blakeshall Quest, Boavista, and Ladies Knight and the tentative vote goes to Boavista. The selection was a fair fourth behind Dunn Deal last time out only beaten a length he is better off at the weights with that rival here and with conditions to suit he will be hard to beat. Blakeshall Quest rates the main danger he won well here a couple of runs ago before being well beaten on turf. The switch back to this surface will suit and he will not be far away. Ladies Knight is another that could go well but her best form is over a shorter trip and for that reason she is opposed. Of the remainder Astrac has a top jockey booked and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Boavista.
