Verdict
Devil's Bite, General Flumpa and State of Balance look the three to concentrate on in this desperate maiden and the vote goes to Devil's Bite. The selection would win this easily on his best form. However he can not be backed with much confidence as he broke a blood vessel last time but if he stays in one piece he will be hard to beat.General Flumpa rates thew main danger on his latest sixth behind Key Partners but he gave the impression he would be seen to better effect over a longer trip. State Of Balance was eighth in a handicap behind True Companion last time but will need to improve on that to win this and for the winner we return to Devil's Bite in the hope that he stays in one piece.
