Only Ten Per Cent finished a few places ahead of Whipphound when runner-up at Newcastle and can figure. Jack The Laird has proved best over 5f so far and won over that trip here back in May while Arlecchino's Rock posted a much better effort here last week having slipped down the weights. HONCHO is another on the slide and is now 10lb lower than when scoring at Salisbury last year. Dropping down a couple of grades for this, John Ryan’s charge may be the one to side with and gets a speculative vote.
