        Verdict

        La Contessa was expected to show some progress at Carlisle last time but failed to do so. She may need more time and JAYJINSKI looks a safer bet back in this company after a couple of modest efforts in handicaps. Macksville never figured when fifth at Windsor recently but that still looks stronger form than the remainder with experience have managed so far though that’s not saying much. The newcomer Sir Jack cost only 2,000gns despite being related to a couple of winners but it remains to be seen if he proves a bargain buy.
