Powerful Pierre came good over 6f here last week but MAAKIRR makes more appeal over today's trip. The four-year-old has yet to win but didn't make his racecourse debut until March this year and went close over course and distance last time. Angels Calling was below par in soft ground last time but ran well in a Leicester seller before that, though Bapak Pesta ran a couple of shockers when attempting this longer trip in the past. Methaaly could prove best of the rest if on a going day.
