Verdict

Sharp Operator finished in front of Energia Flavio when scoring over track and trip last month but struggled under a penalty last time and Limerick Lord could only manage third off today’s mark recently having won here before that. Adventureman is another course and distance winner but hasn’t raced since last summer but Mossy's Lodge has a shout if taking part, though was due to run here last night. PIKE CORNER CROSS posted a better effort on his first start for a new yard when third over a longer trip here earlier in the month and it could be his turn again having slipped back down the weights since winning over a mile at Kempton in October.
