    Verdict

Tom Dascombe's Plush, who has won two of his last three starts all of which have been in claimers, faces no easy task in having to give weight away all round and preference is for FREMEN, who can complete a hat-trick with Pyrus Time rated the best of the remainder. The selection has been performing well in sellers and claimers recently in winning his last two starts here and at Musselburgh, staying on well on each occasion and he can complete a hat-tick for David Nicholls. Mataram disappointed on his most recent start but has to be respected now that Willie Jarvis drops him into this grade, while Frank Sheridan's Ahlawy has been running consistently well and should be thereabouts again but may once more have to settle for minor honours. Mark Brisbourne's New Star has been well held in similar races of late and of more interest may be Pyrus Time, who was narrowly beaten by Alfie Tupper last time. Fremen has done little wrong of late though and he can win again.
