Verdict

The last race on the Wolverhampton card is a seven runner fillies handicap in which LUCKY LEIGH can out gun Dametime and Real Diamond. Mick Channon's filly has had the two runs already this year but hasn't cut much ice. It usually takes two runs for the daughter of Piccolo to reach fitness and she is not too badly treated to win a race of this nature. She has tumbled down the handicap in recent years. She originally had a rating of 100 but that seemed to flatter her, she now races from a mark of 68 and can hopefully go in here. The Irish raider, Dametime, might be the selections biggest threat. Andrea Atzeni is a very interesting booking; it looks like they are coming here to win and she certainly has a decent chance off top weight. Real Diamond is another with a big chance but has a 181 day absence to overcome. Ollie Pears' team are in good nick so if the money came she would be interesting. The selection is a tentative choice though as this looks to be an open contest even with only seven runners.
