In depth

Verdict

Fab was still beaten six lengths when runner-up at Bath and Story Minister disappointed at Hamilton last time having placed on his earlier debut. That being the case, BRANSCOMBE (NAP) may well go in again despite a penalty. He made all to win at Sandown 10 days ago and there should be more to come from Mark Johnston’s charge with his yard in cracking form. Midnight Blue is a half-sister to a winner in Italy and Spirited Boss is another newcomer to keep an eye on.
