        Verdict

        Field Spark looks the pick of another poor bunch, Fillameena and So Elegant may provide most danger, although any sign of a gamble on Barney Curley's Le Soleil would be significant. The selection, trained by James Given, has solid turf and all-weather form. He has been contesting races over all sorts of trips this year but his best efforts have been over this course and distance. If he can recapture his winter form he would easily dispose of these. Fillamena did finish ahead of the selection last time but could find things more difficult at today's weights and over the shorter trip. However she should still be vying for some place money. So Elegant hit the winning trail last time when beating some modest rivals at Lingfield. The step up in trip should suit and she should make her presence felt. Succesor, as with Le Solieil, should be noted in the betting market, but on overall form Field Spark should come out on top.
