The shortlist contains Bajan Parkes, Sunrise Safari, Waddon, Emily and Miss Lacey, with the vote going to Bajan Parkes. Bajan Parkes is by Zafonic out of a very quick mare and is of great interest, particularly if the market speaks well of him. King Magnus is also nicely-bred and is surely better than he showed when last of 12 at Newbury on his debut. Sunrise Safari was third to Rag Tag here last time and holds place claims but the form is relatively modest. From a poor draw, Waddon ran a very good race at Windsor last time and he is certainly one for the shortlist. Emily might appreciate this slightly shorter trip than when showing good speed at Epsom last time and she could go well, while the 28,000 guineas daughter of Diktat, Miss Lacey, is another interesting newcomer. For us, these look to be the principals with the vote going to Bajan Parkes, unless the market vibe is negative.
