In depth
Verdict
The Prince is very hard to get away from here and gets the vote ahead of Distant Country and Welsh Wind. The Prince stands out on ratings here and, having proven that he acts on this surface, looks the one to beat. Distant Country rates a big danger based on his best Turf form, including during the summer, while the lightly-raced Castanza is a potential improver and could go well. Welsh Wind has been running well of late, including here but, in keeping with a number of these, has something to find on official ratings. All of which returns us to the selection, which is The Prince.
