      Verdict

      The Blue Dog continued his resurgence with a victory over track and trip last time to land a hat trick. Upped 5lb for this, he may find PERSIAN PATRIOT too good. The latter beat little in a maiden race at Southwell recently but had earlier gone close over today's trip in a handicap at Kempton and Willie Jarvis' filly has scope for further progress. Remix remains 9lb higher than when landing a double over 1m2f in August and Doldrums was well beaten over course and distance earlier this month.
